My philosophy on food is very simple.
Eat what you love, and love what you eat! Balance is key. Find out what foods you like and you can create healthy eating habits. It can be done and it’s not as hard as you think. (trust me I know!) I come from a background where most of my foods were fried and I noticed I felt so sluggish and bloated after each meal I had no energy to do anything. I started to feel like I was missing out on life. With the extra weight came depression and anxiety. My anxiety was so severe I went for years being medicated and life was just a stressful blur. At 5 feet and 160 pounds, I was miserable. I knew there was a better life for me but I just didn’t know how to obtain it. I started by making small adjustments at first, and noticed the changes in my body and I knew I was on to something big. I soon realized that the healthy lifestyle that I dreamed of was totally obtainable. Over time, I began to make better food choices, became more active and embraced balance.
